What is Off-Page SEO?

"Off-Page SEO" is a term that relates to the overall activities done by you or others away from your site to grow your website ranking in search results.

You had ever heard about the "Back-links". Although it is not that essay to understand. where I give you a general overview.

Back-links are the reference link, we can say it a do-follow link that points a particular web page to refer to other articles or pages through different websites. So, such source link Highlights that the point domain has richer content, and such redirection helps growing SEO ranking.

If we will learn from the perspective of search engine optimization. Then the search engine arranges its result on the basis of the external and internal site linking factors.

Factors Affecting on Off-Page SEO

While ranking your page in search results, the Search engine gets overlook of internal as well as external impressions on your site.

1. Domain Linking

Domain linking is an important factor that shows the number of root domains linking with other sites directly to the home page.

  • Check out the content before linking.
  • The linking domain must have high authority.
  • Avoid domain having a high spam score.

2. No of Linking Source

It is better to have a link with a particular domain. But there is a various ranking factor, so you need to create a large number of domains linking from different resources.

The linking source may be a page, website, directory.

3. Domain Authority

Domain authority is the Search engine ranking score developed by Moz. It shows the area of relevance for a particular site. And it says that it has a direct impact on search engine ranking.

But, I am not sure that it is true. Because Google Search Engine does not mention anywhere that they use DA- Domain Authority in its algorithm.

4. Page Authority

Page authority is also developed by MOZ that shows how your page rank in search results by allotting numbers ranges from 1-100.

Factors affecting PA (Page Authority),
  • Publishing fresh content is the best way to improve PA.
  • Use of Image With proper Alt attribute.
  • Getting external do-follow links.

5. do-follow & no-follow links

no-follow links are the hyperlinks with attribute  rel=“no-follow” that do not count for the ranking page. Google also states that no-follow links are not crawled.

All links without no-follow attributes are do-follow. when other websites are directly connected with your site using do-follow links then it has an effect on your Ranking.

6. Anchor link

An anchor link is on-page linking that uses an HTML tag to link any topic on the same page. It works like, redirects the related paragraph on a page by saving the scrolling time of visitors.

Anchor text is also the main ranking factor use to understand the spam Operation.
